Cody Thompson kicked off his 2025 campaign on the first weekend in February with the $10,000-to-win Texas Showdown at I-37 Speedway. He was part of a 49-car IMCA Modified field at the quarter-mile track in Pleasanton, Texas, and grabbed a strong top-five feature result. Friday night found Austin Theiss in action at I-37 Speedway (Pleasanton, Texas) for the DTK Memorial Night. After gaining two spots in his heat race to finish second, Theiss carried a steady pace throughout the 20-lap feature to place third.
